The latter is aimed at monitoring your network traffic for potential security threats. The former covers antivirus protection against a wide variety of malware including adware, keyloggers, spyware, Trojan horses and more. Mac Internet Security X9 includes antivirus software, VirusBarrier X9 and a firewall, NetBarrier X9.
